Brian has enough stories to publish two or three books, and fortunately has enough of a memory of events as they happened that he is able to write them down with an amazing coherency. One can gather quite a bit just from his blogs, which he has been consistently churning out, usually averaging three per month.

He also has written several hundred pages on his love of the 45 RPM single, with the perpetual hope and desire that this can all appear in print or online. What started as an idea to write about the most annoying pop artists of all time and their one record that deviated from the artists’ usual schmaltz has evolved into an overall view of some of the most interesting records ever made, some familiar, some obscure. It is hoped that the public will get to see this compilation, currently with the working title “Spiral Grooves,” some time in the next year or so.
